renew the leu

Members of the Renew the Leu service team work with our partners at the Leu Civic Center to restore, renovate, and renew this historic building in the heart of Mascoutah. Built in the 1930’s, the Leu Civic Center was once Mascoutah’s Elementary and High School. It transitioned into a community center in 1978. In 2021, Mercy’s Door began hosting our Sunday worship gathering in the building. In 2022, the Leu Civic Center came under new leadership, and the church entered into an ongoing partnership with the new leaders to see the building brought back to life!
