It seems every few years our lives and this nation is turned upside down. Lines are drawn, potential saviors are identified, and our hopes and dreams are placed in the hands of men and women, institutions and organizations that can never deliver. For many of us we are stuck fighting a perpetual war that we simply can’t win. We long to find true significance, experience joy that doesn’t diminish, establish security that can’t be taken from us, and give to those around us a world without sorrow or pain. But we have no need to establish our own Kingdom, because we have a far better King, one who has fought for us, and is even now drawing near to bring hope, healing, joy and rest on Earth as it is in Heaven. Join us as we prepare our hearts this Easter season to celebrate the Lamb who was slain but who is also the King above all Kings. His is a better Kingdom, one that will never end, that extinguishes all suffering, sickness, and death. We are all invited to find life in Christ’s Resurrection Kingdom.
