Jesus is the head of our church... here are a few of our other leaders:

Lead Pastor / Elder - Michael Collins

Michael Collins and his wife, Rachael, have been married since 2007, and are the proud parents of Noah, Henry, Hattie, and Samuel.  Michael and Rachael, by the the Grace of God, and along with the commitment and faithfulness of several others planted Mercy's Door in February of 2017.  Michael grew up as a military child (his parents retired at Scott AFB) and Rachael was born and raised in the area.  They love Mascoutah and are incredibly thankful that God would allow them to return to the place where they, their family, and friends call home to begin a Christ centered church that exists for the glory of God and the joy of His people.

Prior to planting Mercy's Door, Michael served as the Executive Pastor of a church in the Chicago suburbs. (Don't worry he never became a Cubs fan). Before ministry Michael spent his career working in Homeland Security.

Adam and Sarah Vega - Gospel Community Leaders

Adam and Sarah have been married for six years and are the proud parents of three awesome boys: Jack (11), Boaz, (5), and Gus (2).  Adam and Sarah are both from the western suburbs of Chicago (though we don't hold that against them).

Dude and Joy Underwood - Gospel Community Leaders

Dude and Joy have been married for 19 years and have four amazing kiddos: JD (15), Matt (14), Moriah (12), and Beth (10).  We are so excited that the United States Navy decided to bring the Underwoods to Mascoutah.  Both Joy and Dude were born and raised in California (I hear their beaches are almost as nice as ours).

Tim and Liz Casey - Gospel Community Leaders

Tim and Liz have been married for twelve years and are the proud parents of Hannah (9) and Cameron (6).  Liz was born and raised in the metro east while Tim is originally from Wisconsin.  While Tim sadly still roots for the Packers we can happily report he know longer cheers for the Brewers (though I'm not sure why anyone ever would).
